Scouting Ministry
Exciting things are happening with Cub Scout Pack 460 sponsored through the First United Methodist Church in Pembroke, and we want your son to join us!!! If you have a son
in first grade through fifth grade (or your son is 7 to 11 1/2 years old), then we want your child and your family to be involved. This is the first and the
biggest of the three Scouting programs (Cub Scouting, Boy Scouting, and Venturing) from the Boy Scouts of America. Every Cub Scout is a member of a
Cub Scout pack, which is the overall group of boys. The pack is divided into smaller groups called dens. Each den has about six to eight boys. Cub Scout
packs often belong to churches and schools, and our church is going to be responsible for this new pack to make sure that it has good adult leaders,
a place to meet, and exciting things to do. The group will get help from the Boy Scouts of America, which is part of Scouting around the world. We are part
of the Buckskin Council and our Council's camp is Camp Roland.
